As part of the Consumer Experience Design (CXD) team, the right candidate will have a strong understanding of design, typography, color theory and composition in addition to expertise in interaction design. In addition to being an outstanding and hands-on designer, the interaction designer must have strong communication skills and a thorough passion for interactive technology with experiences in the financial, retail, hospitality, & travel lines of business. Close collaboration is expected with local and global teams and must work independently with tight deadlines. Often, the work is in high volume, fast paced and very demanding.

Work with User Experience Architect on discovery tasks and defining user journeys.
Conceptualize interactive solutions that are engaging and meet customer/product team business requirements
Create concepts that communicate proposed ideas effectively
Work on multiple projects while balancing proposed creative direction, developer technical specifications, usability compliancies while still meeting tight deadlines.
Keep up to date with the industry’s trends and standards, latest tools and preferred practices.
Stellar visual design skills and firm grasp of Web and Mobile applications. Knowledge of Kiosk, ATM and POS is a bonus.
Firm understanding of interactive motion techniques to communicate instructions and improve overall usability.
Skills and Abilities:
A strong portfolio with a healthy mix of interactive/digital & traditional design that cross multiple lines of business.
5+ years of industry experience
Strong conceptual skills and the ability to pitch your ideas internally to the creative director and to the client
Adobe Creative Cloud proficient
Strong knowledge of production
Understanding of motion & material design and the strengths and limitations of HTML5, Jquery libraries, IOS, Android and other emerging platforms
Solid understanding & demonstration of IA / UX practices
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people
Self motivated, organized and accountable
Ability to Travel on occasion
